Decks take a beating in Central New York. Freeze-thaw cycles work at the fasteners, snow sits on the framing all winter, and by spring you can usually feel which boards have gone soft.

We build new decks and repair the ones still worth saving. Every job starts with an honest look at the framing and footings — because a deck with a rotted ledger board isn’t a board-replacement job, it’s a rebuild. You’re better off hearing that before you spend money on new decking laid over bad framing.

Permits

Deck work usually needs a permit, and an attached deck needs the ledger and footings looked at before anything gets closed up. We handle that as part of the job rather than leaving it with you.
